Transforming vegetables into musical instruments ... Really !
The Vegetable Orchestra created in Vienna in 1998 includes artists with a wide range of backgrounds. The musicians craft instruments freshly before every performance. The off cuts are used to cook soup which is served to the audience after the performance. The concept of food changes to an assemblage of instruments and then back again as the soup is served.
